Digital Skills Mentors for The Lab
The Digital Heritage Lab is a project managed by the Arts Marketing Association (AMA) in partnership with Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy, One Further and the Collections Trust, and is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the Digital Skills for Heritage initiative.
The Lab is part of the Digital Heritage Lab and will provide digital mentoring support to 60 UK-based small to medium sized heritage organisations from September 2020 until June 2021. The aim of The Lab is to help these 60 heritage organisations develop their individual digital capabilities and capacity. It will be tailored to each organisation’s needs.
The AMA is currently looking for Digital Skills Mentors with digital expertise and experience of the UK heritage sector to provide mentoring as part of The Lab. The Digital Skills Mentors will be contracted by the AMA on behalf of the Digital Heritage Lab.
As a Digital Skills Mentor you will have at least six hours of online mentoring with each organisation that you mentor over the nine-month period of The Lab. You will help each organisation with their digital strategy — identify actions and support planning.
The Digital Skills Mentor fee will be £1,000 +VAT if applicable per organisation that you mentor. Digital Skills Mentors will be able to invoice part of their fee after each mentoring session.
The AMA is working hard to be an inclusive organisation and we hope to see a range of applications from a diverse group of people. For more information read the AMA’s Diversity Strategy and our Accessibility Pledge.
