ARTIST OF THE MONTH
About The Art
I use basic plain weave to produce solid block colours that crudely bend and distort as the image is built upon the warp. Currently, I’ve been exploring the intense contrasted feelings of doom and ecstasy during nights out and the diversity of the rave community. I've been using recurring symbolic motifs to entwine my narrative. Tapestry weaving allows me to produce a tangible and physical form of my existence and therefore empowers and reminds me that my voice and my experiences are important.
